How to commission | the simple process from concept to completion

We can design glass for you to be used as decorative wall panels, wall sculptures, kitchen splashbacks, lighting features, tiles and tableware. We can also encase a coloured kiln-formed panel into a secondary glazed window unit (effectively making a triple-glazed window). An increasingly popular application is to mount a glass art panel as a splashback feature in a kitchen. Any of our wall panel range can be specially back-painted with a coloured coating to be surface mounted in this way.

Commissioning a piece of work, however large or small is a very simple process. Once we have an idea for what you want to achieve, we can come up with a number of options and associated costs. We can nearly always design for a space without actually having visited it. If you can supply us with photos, and/or samples of interior swatches you’d like us to work with, we can send you coloured glass samples we think will work along with a design sketch if necessary. We like to think that we make commissioning process an exciting, enjoyable and uniquely personal one!

We price each individual project according to size, color and design. If you let us know which design you like and at what what size, we can provide you with a quotation. If you like a particular design but would like different colours, that’s usually no problem whatsoever. Once we have agreed on a design/colour combination then we require a 50% deposit to begin the fabrication process, with the balance being due on delivery/installation. We accept all major debit/credit card payments over the phone or you can pay by BACS transfer.

Your art work will be designed and made in our glass studio based in Liverpool. We usually require 4-6 weeks from the point of commission to delivery but if you need us to hit a deadline sooner than this, then we will do all we can to accommodate your schedule.

Our glass art panels are relatively straight forward to install with just a basic knowledge of DIY. Wall panels come with a range of either drilled-through or edge-grip fixtures and we’ll advise you on which is most suited to your work when you commission. The fixtures also come in a range of finishes including matt and polished and also a choice of either aluminium or stainless steel. We’ll provide full instructions on mounting your glass, however we offer a complete installation service throughout the UK and will provide you an individual cost for a delivery/install package at the point of quotation.

We can deliver your glass art to any address worldwide. Cost is calculated on the basis of size and weight, using either specialised courier service or our own in-house delivery service. We will provide you with an itemised cost for delivery on your quotation.
